Dungeon

Now

A month-by-month log, in the spirit of a now page. Each card is a post with the internal tag #now.

Finished the theme and released it, then rebuilt this demo so it updates itself with every release. The saber took longer than everything else combined.

  • Built: a saber that switches the lights, with static on the edge
  • Shipped: version 1.0, free on GitHub
  • Automated: releases, installs and this demo
  • Learned: Ghost names a theme after its zip file
  • Reading: the Ghost theme docs, twice

Next month: fewer features, more writing.

A month of wiring things together. Every service got a health check, and every health check found something.

Travelled for work and wrote on trains. Cities look better from a window seat.

Walked more than I wrote, and tracked a few hills.

Started the blog. Picked a default theme and promised to fix it later, which is how every theme starts.

  • Posts written: three
  • Posts published: one
  • Themes tried: five
  • Themes kept: none
  • Index cards bought: a pack of two hundred

The index cards turned out to matter.

A quiet month. Nothing to report, which is its own kind of report.
